26/12/98 I integrated this unofficial site with my professional and personal web pages. I will be able (I hope) to actualize them more often ... but ... not that much really happened with this camera, more than the fact that -up to date- it delivered a superb image quality, rivaling those of the bigger and more expensive brothers of her. 19/9/98 Long time since last actualization .... sorry .... little or no new info arrived in this time lapse, until now. I received some interesting information about an XLR dual input and Audio Monitor addon for the EZ30. Secondly, I received the confirmation that DV INPUT CAN BE ADDED to all of us wich got it DISABLED .... Turn on to Accesories and Tech to hear about all this ! And please, keep your feedback.
31-07-98 I Received an interesting e-mail from an Australian User... Basically he says that the version he just bought in there also has the DV IN DISABLED ... Remember that Australia is PAL B. I am starting to suspect that all (E) models (wich stands for Europe, PALB) got the DV IN DISABLED OR what is WORSE: TRUNCATED. As a side note, this kind user from Australia tells me that General Electric is the brand that comercializes all PANASONIC PROSUMER line of products in his country .... interesting ! He has a GENERAL ELECTRIC EZ30 ! :)
17-07-98 News from Panasonic ... The new input can be found in F.A.Q. ! :) They clarified the firewire input omission on South American cameras and another interesting things. ... There is some new input regarding the use of the digital connector located in the bottom of the camera that has been included in HACKS section also !
14-07-98 Hmmm ... Not much happening really ... this camera is REALLY NEW to the world ... not that much users around ! :) Hey, I finally found out where the Memory battery backup was located ... for more info turn into TECH section now ! :)
06-07-98 I updated the info on the F.A.Q. based on a (rather strange) letter from Panasonic guys ... It answers most of my current questions ... ah oh! Thanks Chris for your e-mail ... interesting questions ! I updated the TECH, FAQ, NEWS, ACCESORIES and INTRO pages. The main reason for this is an e-mail from Panasonic. It is quite controversial. It states that all EZ30 models are the same, including 1/4 inch 3CCD and Firewire I/O. They state that there is a grey market (BEWARE) that is selling "earlier" (BETA ???) models !!!! hmmm ... quite strange. All this needs to be confirmed by US, FINAL USERS ... so please (more important now) EMAIL ME with any addition to this !
04-07-98 This page is started. It will carry the title of UNOFFICIAL WEB PAGE of PANASONIC AG-EZ30 camera. It is my intention to get in here all the info I recover on this really interesting camera, wich I own, of course :) I encourage the readers that can add up some knowledge to this database to EMAIL ME !
