Alarm features
Automatic call transfer. If a call sent to a pager remains unanswered for a
predetermined time it is transferred to another designated pager. A call will
also be transferred if the pager being called is in a charging rack (i.e.,
absent)
Different tones for each type of call.
Pip tone frequency is 3100 ± 800 Hz.

The display shows:

The position of the call in the
queue and the number of calls waiting. |

The time and date of the call. |

The message of the current call.

The operator can scroll through the call queue.
Up to 26 call zones can be programmed, each with its own associated pager
identity codes. 5 codes are available:

Normal call pager. |
|
Assistance pager. |
|
Emergency pager. |
|
Transfer pager. |
|
Night service pager. |
Night service facility. Each zone can have a designated night service pager.
Normal paging calls can be made from the main console. In the paging mode if a
call is made to a pager that is in a charging/storage rack with absence
facilities it is reported as absent on the console’s display . Full paging
facilities are available including an option to initiate paging calls from an
internal telephone.
An option is available that allows the call log to be printed.
Ward round reporting (an option for nurse call systems). If the reset button of
a bedhead unit is operated when no call is present then the time, date and
location name are printed in the log.
