AVR Transmitter

The AVR (Automatic Vehicle Recognition) transmitter is a powered version of a PAC proximity token. It is designed to be fitted to the underside of a vehicle.

The AVR transmitter works with a special AVR reader which receives a signal via a loop aerial buried in the road.

An AVR test set is available to test AVR transmitters. The test set has a display which gives the unique ID code of each device. The code can then be manually entered into a PAC for Windows system.
