ease of use with a modular approach to system design, so that your system
can be tailored to meet your needs. |

PAC for Windows is a software package running under the Microsoft Windows
environment. It allows you to administer a network of PAC door controllers
and other security equipment. You can then decide who is authorised
to go where on your site (or sites), and at what times.
Alarms can be displayed in a number of different ways. Graphic maps
showing the layout of a building can have dynamic icons to represent
the hardware points on the system. The map can give the operator an
overview of the building and show them where in the building an alarm
has occured.

The system may be administered by up to 2PCs on a local area network
(LAN). Alarms can be filtered by division or by site. PAC for Windows
can also offer building management functions, in that it has the ability
to control and monitor a wide range of other equipment, including:
Heating, Lighting, Ventilation, Cold Storage, Airlocks, Security
Cameras, Fire Doors, Machinery, Perimeter Defence.
All these can be displayed as dynamic icons on a site map.

Central
Network Controller (CNC)
The CNC allows PAC for Windows to communicate with PAC
door controllers via the PAC six wire bus and RS 232. ID devices can
be administered by a PAC for Windows system via a built in reader. A
power supply unit is also supplied (separate box).
The slim construction allows it to sit easily on top of
a PC. (See picture at the top of this page).
