The table above shows the number of doors and Alarm Event Managers (AEMs)
that can be attached to each controller. Each AEM can control up to eight alarm inputs/outputs.

PAC 2224 Door Controller

Controls two doors with up to four Alarm Event Managers giving
32 inputs and 40 outputs

The PAC 2224 series of door controller can be used as a standalone or networked to other door controllers. The system can be locally administered via a front panel (available as separate item) or via a PC administration (PAC for Windows) system.

New features include the ability to connect up to two PAC readers (or wiegand readers with an interface) per door channel for read in/out capability and global anti-pass back over a 32 door cluster.

Wiegand readers (Between 12-18V) can be plugged into the PAC 2200 directly. A voltage converter board will be available for readers that take less than 12V.

PAC 2204 Alarm Controller

Controls up to four Alarm Event Managers giving 32 inputs 40 outputs.

The PAC 2204 alarm controller is for use as part of a network of other 2200 series controllers. It simply increases the number of alarm inputs and outputs on a PAC system.

Provides dial-back on buffer full.

Alarm Event Manager

For use with PAC 2100, 1100, 1200, 1300 and 2200 series of door controllers.

The PAC alarm event manager is an alarm input/output module for use in auxiliary alarm or event applications. It connects directly to a controller reader channel. It has eight end-of line inputs and eight voltage-free relay outputs.
