Your menu can be visible all the time and still use a backdrop. Note: A backdrop BLOCKS page links!
You can have up to 9 main menus buttons, with 9 submenus each, and 9 sub-submenus (9x9x9 = 729 Menus!).
Nine is the maximum limit of menus and submenus, but not links. Links on any menu are unlimited!
