Tips have never caused serious problems
(only less than expected or undesireable results).
Reversing the modifications has always restored the system to it's original condition. Read the Legal Stuff.

Some of these tips involve modifying the System Registry (WIN95) or Windows Initialization files (SYSTEM.INI or WIN.INI - Windows 3.X).

This is not for the novice, or faint-hearted! One mis-spelled word or number typo will crash your system on reboot in WIN95, and may do the same in Windows 3.X.

Be very careful, because you will most likely be working in the DOS environment to get the system back!
