Information Technology Architect
SAT Catskill Inc., Parksville, New York, 2004 - 2005

  • Implemented and maintained entire information infrastructure for a medium sized network running with Windows 2000/XP workstations and Windows 2000 server. Configured and maintained e-mail service for entire company.
  • Implemented and maintained security measures for entire network, including antivirus infrastructure, firewalls and network access control.
  • Performed critical reviews of current information system to identify potential technical issues.
  • Provided recommendations for new technologies, specifically regarding to all relevant network/hardware/software technologies. Implemented and maintained all upgrades.
  • Designed and supported telecommunication system for entire site, such as PBX and phone systems.

  • Defined both retail and wholesale e-commence sale models for selling computer parts on the internet.
  • Coordinated with programming, sales, accounting, and warehouse departments to create new sale process procedures.
  • Rebuilt and optimized two online stores, http://www.2asp.net and http://store.yahoo.com/2asp/. Generated and increased 200% more revenue than the previous online stores.
  • Supported customer relationship management and sales representative. Resolved customer technical problem and recommended suitable IT equipment and solutions.

  • Developed application software and driver for special platform high speed barcode card reader.
  • Programmed barcode printing software running under DOS environment for both general and special laser printers to mass produced barcode products. Products include gift cards, identification cards, air tickets, and parking tickets.
  • Maintained and enhanced for entire medium size Netware network, workstations, and servers performance.
