Qualifications:

Optical Experience:

• Lasers: Used semiconductor, dye and gas lasers. Argon ion, AlGaAs Diode, Dye, HeNe,  Lasers.
• Equipment: Used CCD camera for image capture, Optical positioning equipment. HP Optical Spectrum Analyzer.

• Instrumentation: Familiar with a wide variety of instrumentation for laboratory and optical testing. DAQ equipment, IEEE 488, GPIB, RS 232. Have several years of experience with laboratory data acquisition and automation.
• Languages: LabVIEW, BASIC, PASCAL, FORTRAN. Familiar with Machine, Assembly and HTML.
• Drafting: Desinged Micro Machined tray for automated testing. Used Autocad to design a MEMS chip that was fabricated by MUMPS (Multi User MEMS Processing Service). Designed Micro Optics. Assisted with the design undergraduate projects such as photo detectors.
• General: Fluent with Windows, competent with hardware installation and integration. Familiar with UNIX and VAX/VMS, Macintosh, NT, Comadore 64.

Graduate Research:

• Designed movable micro optics and photo detectors.
• Studied MEMS and MOEMS extensively.
• Used Data acquisition equipment to test photo detector response.
• Completed work and individual research utilizing mask design and alignment, wet etching, oxidation, use of electrostatic bonding, created a MEMS pressure sensor.
• Studied extensively in electronics, mathematics and physics. Have taken classes in college chemistry and biology.

• Awarded a research assistantship at the University of Cincinnati.
Automation Test Engineer, CoreTek Inc. Burlington Mass.,     Oct. 1998  to present.
• Desinged and built automated test setups for CoreTek Inc. Designed and built optics for an autmated test set up. Worked with fabrication engineers to intigrate fabriaction with quality control.
• Designed automated test devices and software.
• Met specific testing needs pertaining to optical mems devices.
