These photos are of the Swedish Broadcasting Company and were taken in the early 1960's. Both photos illustrate the use of ESL57's, but Quad II power amps were also employed in the audio suites/studios.

Apparently The ESL's were mounted on stands with the Quad II amps suspended in a box underneath! I can't imagine the heat rising from the amp did the ESL's very much good at all...
