- Sep 02, 2003: Dr. K. S. Goswami, Associate Professor, leaves for Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad, to attend a meeting of the ISRO-Respond Programme for Space Sciences.
- Aug 24, 2003: Prof. S. Bujarbarua, Director, arrives from New Delhi.
- Aug 17, 2003: Prof. S. Bujarbarua, Director, leaves for New Delhi on official work.
- Aug 05, 2003:
 Government of Assam reconstitutes the Governing Council of CPP w.e.f. 9th June, 2003. Dr. N. Venkatramani, Director, Beam Power Development Group, BARC, has been appointed as the chairman of the new council.
- Aug 01, 2003: M. Chakraborty, SRF, joins as Research Associate in a project sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
- Jul 23, 2003: H. Bhuyan, SRF, receives an award of Post Doctoral Fellowship at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Santiago.
- Jul 15, 2003: B. Bora, JRF, leads a discussion on numerical work relating to the thermal plasma synthesis of nanoparticles carried out at CPP.
