- Dec 08, 2003: T. K. Borthakur, Scientist-C, gets married. Congratulations, Tridip!
- Dec 07, 2003: S. Bujarbarua, Director, leaves to New Delhi for official work. C. B. Dwivedi, Assoc. Prof., and P. K. Karmakar, SRF, leave for Ranchi to participate in the National Symposium on Plasma Science & Technology, 2003.
- Dec 04, 2003: M. Kakati leaves for HHV, Bangalore and BARC, Mumbai.
- Nov 27, 2003:
 Heman Bhuyan, SRF, leaves for Kolkata en route to Santiago, Chille, to work as Post Doctoral Fellow at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Heman is supposed to stay there for a year. Best wishes, Heman!
- Nov 03, 2003: CPP hosts Discussion Meeting on "Surface Engineering and Rejuvenation of Traditional Crafts", a DST initiative. The meeting was co-ordinated by Dr. N. Venkatramani of BARC, Mumbai, and attended by representatives from various crafts and industry organizations. Dr. N. Venkatramani and Prof. A.C. Das visit CPP's permanent campus at Sonapur.
- Nov 02, 2003: Governing Council of CPP meets under the chairmanship of Dr. N. Venkatramani of BARC. Prof. A.C. Das of PRL, Prof. Y.C. Saxena of IPR, Prof. R. Pal of SINP, Dr. A.K. Barua of ASTEC, and Mrs. T.Y. Das of DST, Govt. of Assam attend the meeting.
- Oct 29, 2003: M. K. Sharma, JRF, leaves for Hyderabad to participate in the of International Conference on Advances in Surface Treatment: Research and Application, ASTRA-2003, to be held during November 3 - 6, 2003. N. K. Deka, part-time research scholar at CPP presents his Ph.D. final registration seminar on "A study of plasma maser interaction in relativistic plasma" at Department of Physics, Gauhati University.
- Oct 28, 2003: M. Kakati, N.K. Neog, B. Bora, P. Dutta and A. Phukan leave for Tezpur University to attend a workshop on Nanoparticles.
- Oct 15, 2003: M. Chakraborty, RA, gets married. Congratulations!
- Oct 09, 2003:
 Dr. K.S. Goswami, Associate Professor, leaves for New Delhi en route to Bayreuth, Germany, where he will stay for two months to collaborate research work with Prof. H. Schamel of University of Bayreuth.
