My introduction to music comes courtesy of many people. I'm sure that I sang songs as a toddler when I had no idea what I was even doing.
The music teacher at Bedford Elementary School, Mrs. Peyton, who was also the music director at Campbellsburg Baptist Church, both introduced me to classics in the school setting, as well as had me singing in front of people before I even knew that I was supposed to be nervous.
My parents encouraged me by paying for piano lessons from Mrs. Hardin, Miss Chilton, and Mrs. Newman through the years. I also am now experiencing the joy of passing those lessons along to our children.
The band directors, Mr. Rothert, Mr. Kindall, and Mr. Roth opened up new areas of musical enjoyment, as well.
Besides these people of influence, my other musical stimuli are many and varied. I have nothing new to tell you about music other than to link you to those artists and styles that interest me.
