If large flashbulbs are attached to each end of a long, fast-moving train and if each flashbulb discharges when a photon detector attached at the center of the train is located directly opposite any single reference point on the ground, the Michelson-Morley findings prove that the wave front from each flash will reach that detector on the train simultaneously, regardless of the motion of the train.
