With my pet Alero, one of the cars I just loved. With a smooth steering, and lovely curves, this car was a beau to drive. This red one was the first in a set of cars which I rented out there. Next came a Sonata, an Intrigue, the Cavalier, another black Alero, and the Pontiac Grandam. The Sonata wins the most steady car award above 120 MPH, The Intrigue was one of the most powerful cars I drove, and the Alero was the most lovely one.
Inside the Natural Bridge Caverns, along the highway between Houston and San Antonio, a couple of miles before San Antonio. It is a nice experience, going down more than 100 ft into the ground. You get to enjoy that unimitable feeling, when you get so close with nature. The place itself has a number of curio shops. Later on, me and Venky went for the Safari.
Having a break inside the Caverns compound, where there are Parakeets, talking parrots, and other smaller animals. This is the Sonata which we drove (overdrove ?) at 125 MPH. The car had a sliding sunroof. Venky is alongside. To introduce Venky is tough, with his unpredictable habits, and multifaceted talents. A linux hacker from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K), Venky loves Gundam, Chips, and Sleeping, in which ever order you give :). We make good pals, professionally as well as personally!

This picture was taken at my apartment in Sugargrove, Houston. It was cozy, nice and fully furnished, but I kind of used to feel lonely, specially at nights, which led me to write a poem on "Silence at midnight", which is posted at The PoetsIndia website. Venky's apartment was right below mine, which was a problem because I had to cook for him, which is tough by any standards ;)
This picture was taken at the Palm Beach, Galveston. We also went to the Moody Gardens IMAX theatre later. Only later we realised that we had run out of film in Venky's camera (and money too)! Missed a lot of good pictures to take. Well, there's always a next time...
