Aries--This is your ideal type A person: the Doer, but sometimes the doer before thinking!  A cardinal sign ruled by Mars, Aries is actually the most aggressive sign.  The Ram has a lot of physical energy that if focused can be turned into success.   

Taurus--The strong (silent?) type. Well...silent until they trust you. After that, you may not get them to stop talking! In reality, though, the bull, who is ruled by Venus, is just a kid at heart who wants lots of pretty things, never cleans his/her room, mopes about if things don't go his/her way (which happens often for Taurus rising), but deserves an A in effort.

Gemini--This mutable sign is ruled by Mercury and can be the life of the party, but don't mess with this one's bad side. Forget about dual personality; the twins sometimes each have multiple personalities.  Result: a really cool, fun-loving, spontaneous friend or an intense, uncontrollable enemy.   

Cancer--Ruled by the Moon, the maternal sign of the zodiac can unintentionally give you "that look" that can make you feel 2 inches tall! The truth is that's just the mother of pearl shell. Under that hard exterior, is a crabby emotional romantic who watches (and cries at) Disney movies when no one else is around.

Leo--Ruled by the Sun, Leo is always trying to snag the spotlight.  The world revolves around the Lion, who can't wait to be King. However, deep down, the Big Cat can be insecure and may be as vulnerable as a mouse! meow!  Leo can dish out insults, but can rarely take them.  As a stable sign, Leo is also often the first to reject change and consider astrology as preposterous. 

Virgo--Ruled by Mercury, the Virgin is analytical, worrisome, and sometimes very critical. All that thinking can just make one sick and scare guys away, don't ya think?!  Luckily, the virgin is blessed with a high metabolism and a good head on her/his shoulders.

Libra--Ruled by Venus, the sign of the scales could persuade a rock to grow legs and walk.  Beware, though:  this Casanova is a very good actor as well as a mediator. I guess Libra is the perfect lawyer after all!

Scorpio--Even though this sign is ruled by Pluto, a planet of change, Scorpio is a very stable sign.  The Scorpion is extremely passionate and will either love something...or... completely hate it! This sign's hypnotic eyes reflect those emotions and are enough to drive one insane!

Sagittarius--Ruled by Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, the Archer/Centaur is an optimist and loves having freedom.  The Centaur also has an intellectual mind, which can sometimes be political.  Often times, they  try to play superhero, but can easily spread themselves to thin.

Capricorn--Ruled by Saturn, the Paternal sign of the zodiac is quite the business person, but all work and no play can make the "kid" grow into an old goat! Or is it the other way around? Capricorn tends to get younger with age.  The jaded  goat finds humor in other people's stupidity.  And Capricorn rising has a thing for anything with sunflowers or those silly happy faces on it!

Aquarius--I only have four words to say: Can you say rANdOm?!  OK, here are a few more words... ruled by Uranus, the water bearer is the humanitarian of the zodiac.  They are the environmentalists, the advocates, and the protestors.  Before they get too deep into a cause, however, they need to make sure of ALL the facts and look at the bigger picture.

Pisces--If Aries is the Doer, Pisces is the Dreamer. Ruled by Neptune, the fishes have have tremendous psychic abilities and can sometimes be found riding a beam of light around the moon (Einstein was a Pisces).  Pisces is also very creative and artistic in whatever they do.
