Favorite Movies  The Fifth Element, What Dreams May Come, LA Story (and just about anything else with Steve Martin), Gladiator, the Matrix, Strictly Ballroom, the English Patient, Stargate.

The Stock Market I'm the kind of woman who would rather buy mutual funds than jewelry, and receive power tools rather than flowers.  The next guy who wants to impress me should buy me a wrench-set bouquet.

Formative Books  The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.  Dune.  The Hero and the Crown.  The Black Cauldron.  The Last Unicorn.  A Wizard of Earthsea.  The Bible.

Music  Almost everything except country, rap, and acid rock.  My favorites genres are dance, funk, R&B, & new age.  Some favorite artists:  Seal, Enya, Depeche Mode, Sting, Peter Gabriel, REM, Billy Joel, NIN.  This is by no means an exhaustive list as I have over 300 CDs.
