Six Other Variations |
The Radio Frequency System provides many alternatives to the traditional system. Armored cables and electrical conduits have been replaced with a two conductor radio frequency transmission line. This system uses a radio frequency version of the Jackson high security switch. This system will detect any attempt to alter the cables connecting the security switch to the central monitoring system providing a level of security unachievable with the prior art. The classical method of tapping into the connecting cables would be detected immediately and set off an alarm. |
Five Other Variations |
Electronic physical security systems usually incorporate video cameras. Traditionally, this means a video cable for the camera and the armored cables for each of the associated security switches. This can represent miles of wiring in a single building. The RF switch system and the novel video camera system can be integrated to use the video cable that is already in place for both systems. The result is fewer cables, no wiring errors, and a tamper proof system. |
