The Learning Lab also provides computer terminals, on-staff assistance and training classes for students and teachers. Space is available to students for afterschool studying, study group meetings and afternoon or evening study sessions conducted by teachers.

The Wade Edwards Learning Lab is a prototype of the community-based computer center addressing the needs of high school students who are otherwise without access to computer or tutorial services.

The Learning Lab is staffed by an Executive Director who oversees the operations of the center, supervises volunteer assistants and tutors and coordinates the centers' offerings with the teachers at the high school. The center is open:
