Of Greek origin, geometry means "to measure the earth".
This branch of mathematics deals with the measurements,
properties and relationships of points, lines, planes and solids.

Successfully completing Algebra I is a prerequisite for geometry since
Algebra I skills are used extensively throughout the geometry course.

Each student should have a homework cover page for the current chapter. Students may use their homework during tests or quizzes, so the homework for any chapter will be collected after the chapter test. Homework quizzes will happen at any time to encourage the students to stay up to date with the assignments.

The following links will take you to the grading policy page or a list of the suggested chapter  assignments. Your students current chapter cover page may differ slightly due to changing class conditions.
