Here are some photos of the area I will be working with. This is the front yard as viewed from the street side of the main entrance. There are three distinct gardens in this area, the first a meditation area, the middle we call the "French Quarter" and the furthest back is called the "Bird Garden". It is the dark area through the vine covered wall.

This is a slightly different view showing the stairs at the front of the house and the house side of the first two garden areas.

Looking back at the Meditation area from the French Quarter. Roughly center in this image is the gate to the gardens at the front of the house .This picture was taken standing in the entrance to the Bird Garden, the third garden back from the main front entrance.

This is the Bird Garden - This area is about 40 feet deep from the vine wall and contains two large walnut trees (very old) and lots of ferns and salal.
