Story
Joey
was a rescued dog. When Joey's owner died, Joey was bounced around quite a bit. When we
found him he had been abandoned at his old home, quite ill and in the middle of a cold
winter rainstorm.
Charleen
and I took him in, got him medical care and contacted the estate of his previous owner.
Joey was subsequently officially transferred to our care and, although he had medical
problems that kept him from fully integrating into our lives, he accepted our care and
returned it with great loyalty and affection. Joey lived with us for just over 2 years.
