After you have a banner that you like, upload [copy] the banner into your Web site. This can be done using either FTP or the GeoCities EZ Upload tool. Then, visit the Banner Submission Page and follow the instructions. Be certain that you supply just the portion of
your URL A F T E R the "geocities.com/" part.
If I prepared the banner you'd like to use, and put it on a web page, grab it from there. You should be able to save the file onto your computer's hard drive. For most persons, "Click once with the right-mouse-button, select 'Save Picture As...', pick where to save the banner, then click the [Save] button." If that doesn't work for you, you should be able to click [View\Source] to see the HTML code to where the banner is stored, and what it's called. Of course, everything should be somewhere under here. |
