My name is Andrea and I'm a college
student mastering Mechanical Engineeing at the University
of L'Aquila where I got 4 years ago from the University
of Rome Torvergata. It was then, when living in Rome that I matured
interest and passion toward computers. I have to say I never left
it so....here I am.
Since I bought my first PC (486
DX2 50MHz, 4MB di RAM) I used to connect to BBSes and the Internet,
almost everyday, and this virtual, global and telematic world soon bewitched
me. Then, when once I decided to add some RAM changing also the Mother
Board, I wanted to make it by myself with the help of my friend Giuseppe
, yet another Geocitizen!
Since that night on, I spend
most of my free-time mounting and setting computrs and now I have got a
certain experience (thanks to my friends who ,at the beginning trusted
me letting me solve their computers problems) on hardware, operating system
MS DOS and Windows (3.x and 95); so now I have kind of a job as an informatic
consultant and assembling PCs for who asks me to do it.
So when I applied to Geocities
I would have liked to 'live' in the Sylicon Valley neighborhood but it
is extra-full so I decided RodeoDrive because I thought it to be a quiet
quarter and caugth my fantasy.
Besides computers I love a lot
the sea and all the activities related with it: my favourite is SCUBA
diving, to which I'll dedicate a section in this site. Also I practice
downhill ski and sometimes I play tennis and I sail; I also enjoy playing soccer or volley-ball with friends.
On the left side of this page

my personal site. I hope it's going to be useful or at least
interesting.
