Niagara Falls is one of the greatest wonders of nature. When you see Niagara falls, 'breathtaking', 'amazing' and 'awesome' are some of the words that may come to your mind.

Did Niagara Falls ever stop flowing? Yes, probably some time in the 1800s for a few hours when huge chunks of ice blocked the falls. People feared that this was an indication of an impending destruction of the world. The ice blocks gave way to the flowing water after a few hours and everybody lived happily ever after. So, here's an array of pictures of the great falls. I have pictures from the American side of the falls. Some day, I shall have pictures from the Canadian side, too.
