March
27th I wonder how many times I've said that in my blog entries. Makes you wonder, don't it? Well, not really. Anyway. Apparently Tom (an old mate from High School / 6th Form) is out next week =D! I know I'll be out. And that's about as exciting as my day got. I spent most of the day being really tired. Great huh? Oh and it turns out Holly's going to Kendal tomorrow, which means I have to get up even earlier (8ish...on an holiday ¬.¬) than intended. Ah well, least I'll get a few hours with her. I guess that's what I spent most of today looking forward to. Well, a little less now I found out that Nat's going to be with her again. Hmmm. So much for me trying to get Holly around here for a bit of quality time. Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday then. So yeah, I made a bit more progress with my work. I'm getting there, although I really couldn't be bothered when it got towards 11ish, so I just kinda...did nothing. The games weren't interesting me, the LPU's been dead for about a week and I was tired. So I went to watch Mr. TV. And it's a good job I did! Turns out it's none other than BIBLICAL MYSTERIES DAY on Discovery Civilisations! Get 'em in! So yeah, there was a documentary on Moses and the 10 Plagues. It was pretty interesting, and explained how it wasn't the RED Sea that got parted but the Sea of REEDS. It was a mistranslation. Also, they attribute some of the plagues to the result of a volcano exploding in the Mediterranean. The volcano would have caused a tsunami...which would have resulted in receeding water. Then the tsunami itself shows and byebye Egyptians. Volcanos have been known to cause vast amounts of frogs to appear to....and diseases. So it's pretty reasonable, right? The second documentary (they were both an hour long) was about the ossuary (a stone box used to hold the bones of Jewish people in biblical times) that claimed to hold the bones of a "JAMES, SON OF JOSEPH, BROTHER OF JESUS". Now, they weren't exactly rare names, but together as a whole, one professor reckoned there were only THREE families in Israel with that setup. There were more, but to have 'BROTHER OF X' was only included when X was famous...kinda like...ohh....the Son of God? They validated it in every possible way. Chemical analysis. UV examination. Calligraphy. The lot. It kinda convinced me really. After that, I kinda just...fell asleep. I know I shouldn't have stayed up so late, but what can you do. Oh one last thing. Tarintino's proposed cast for his WWII movie Inglorious Bastards: Arnie. Sly. Willis. Quality and my dad's dream movie, I should imagine. Night Chris.

March 28th Mood: Alright D'oh. Bit of a disappointment that was. What I imagined would be a few hours turned out to be around an hour. I can't complain I guess because she's got a perfectly fine reason for cutting it short (family stuff). That doesn't bother me, but it's just the fact I won't be seeing her 'til Saturday now. All I've got to look forward to this week now is teaching Terry some work he won't understand anyway. Lucky me. You can tell it's getting towards loan time. My headphones have died, and I had to walk to town (both ways). I've got bugger all in the way of cash (I know I could get a job, but I need the spare time I have to do my project work). Bugger all in the way of things to do. And nothing but uni work to look forward to. Since I'm writing this in the future, I'll write about how the next bad guy for Spider-man 3 will be The Sandman. No, me niether. Apparently he can..turn into sand. Wow. Fuck that, give me Carnage, or even Venom. There's a new fantastic four trailer out. Looks a little better, but still nothing amazing. The movie will suck. Still reading War of the Worlds. It's a good read, but Speilberg is gunna fux it up. Definitely. Bastard. Night. Chris.

March 30th Well, me and Holly have talked and things are better now I guess. There's still other things on my mind that I won't go into but I guess it's a start to know that me and Holly are okay. I may not be able to see her for a few weeks, but as long as she's happy being with me, I'll be alright. Didn't do anything else today. Didn't sleep very well. There's a suprise. Met up with Kay, although we didn't do anything. It's just so boring. We barely spoke because of everything. It wouldn't be so bad if I could actually find something to do. I need to work on my project, but I've lost interest in it. Hell, I've lost confidence in it as well to a certain extent. I know it's just everything getting to me (which explains the sleeping / minor health problems), but still, if I don't think I can do it, I've no reason to try. I just can't see myself doing this right now. Just need some encouragement from someone I guess. This is going to be short because .. I don't know. I'm still in an off mood, even though I'm okay with Holly now. Well, we were never 'off'. I was being a "silly billy" as she puts it. Least she's understanding. I'm gunna leave this now. I don't know what to write. My minds a blank and I'm just tired. Night. Chris.

31st Holly's moving away this weekend. To be honest, I was expecting to take it badly. Fortunately, I didn't. It would work out well thinking about it. Think of it as a blessing in disguise. It'll mean things get sorted for Holly sooner...which means she'll be less stressed. She'll be with her family, which is obviously going to cheer her up. She'll have her own room and her own private time. She did kinda get it, but now she can get it alot more. It'll save her money too, which is also good. So yeah, I'm taking it well. She should be happier which is the most important thing. If you're bored, check out THIS. It's a great piss-take of the AOL age. At least I achieved something today. Not only have I completed the design section (YAY! only three months behind schedule) but I now have MULTIPLE animals moving around. Yeah I know that doesn't seem like much of an achievement, but believe me, it was. Hell, at first, my animals were moon walking on water. Michael Jackson, eat your heart out. Oh and the animals could also powerslide. Yes, they may not eat, hunt or mate, but they DANCE. Which obviously means they're intelligent. Right? Work with me here people! I managed to get them looking in the right direction when another problem came up. My lions mutated into gazelles! It took me a while to figure out why, and even why I figured out the problem, I couldn't see the cause. Anyway, I fixed it, and I now have multiple animals moving around the world. Okay, they may be able to walk on one another, but so what?! They might just want to say hello! Cough. Stacey and her boyfriend Craig will be visiting me tomorrow. It should be good, although I've not a clue what we'll do. We'll probably end up in a pub or something, although I doubt the Cellar will be open with it being the school holidays and all that. I almost cancelled it, but considering I've postponed it enough, I decided against it. Not really fair of me, is it? She wants me to take my camera with me so I can take photos of the cathedral and other churches. I guess that could give me something to do over the summer, bit of fancypants photography. We've got the landscapes and the lovely polluted skies, so we just need the weather. Speaking of this summer, I mentioned my camping idea to Kay. She seemed interested, and I found a nice campsite in Longridge which isn't too far from Blackburn. Walkable anyway. If we get the weather I think it could be real fun. If it happens. Finally, I just wanted to mention how for the last two nights I've watched a program called Kenny vs. Spenny on Challenge at 1:30am (I know, I know). It's a great show which basically involves two best mates pitting themselves against one another to win a competition. The first show I watched was to walk into the woods with nothing but what they were wearing and a whistle for safety reasons. So off they go, and Kenny (the sly, cheaty one) begins to light a fire. Using a piece of magnifying glass that he hid in his whistle! When Spenny (the niave, honest one) notices, he's told it was shoe laces and twigs. So he tries. And tries. And tries. And just gets nowhere. At the end of it, they start cracking up and come to blows! lol, it was funny though honest. Tonights show involved them trying to become the best male stripper. Ha! Night. Chris.

April
1st Mood: Good Okay give me a break here, it's been a hectic week. And as a result, I'm writing this in the future again. Erk. But I've got good reason. That said, I didn't really do much 'today'. I spent the morning editing my Implementation section. Admittedly I didn't get much done because I was talking to Terry about it. He seems pretty impressed with my work, and says it's going to be hard to implement. TELL ME ABOUT IT! Seriously. Tell me something I don't know...like how to get animals to home in on a specific location! The afternoon was pretty good. Met up with Stacey and Craig and had a decent time. Although we just wandered for about 15 minutes before ending up at the Postal Order for a few pints. We didn't really talk about anything in particular, but had a good time. I got on well with Craig better than I'd expected, and they seem happy together. Stacey really deserves it after what she's been through. Good luck to them both. Hell, they seemed to get on very well with me considering - they offered me a room in Manchester. Obviously I'm not going because a) I can't afford it and b) I've ties here (family, Holly, etc.). In a few years though, who knows? I mean Manchester would have much higher-paying jobs. We'll see. After a few pints (okay, three :p) went to Fry Days and then I saw them to the train station. Exciting, huh? Other than that, I didn't really do much. I did think about Holly and such, especially when I found out she'd spent the day with Kay and Kirsty. I'm kinda glad it was just them three, because that's how it was before Nat and I showed up. It'll have cheered everyone up as well, which is good, right? Really can't be bothered doing any work, when I really need to. I did a little more work on my pixel art castle, which some of you will have seen anyway if you've talked to me on MSN. I'll post it up soon when there's a little more to show for it. Other than that, I guess I just tried to figure out what to do with my project next. I can't really work on the animals behaviour, so maybe I should work on the flooding or something. Night. Chris.

April
2nd Having a giraffe. My programs decided to just...die on me. I totally don't need this ¬.¬ I thought I'd get some work done inbetween coming home (I did end up going out in the afternoon - only because it was such a nice day ... well for Blackburn anyway) and going out again in the evening. But noooo. It wouldn't work. I tried combining the program with multiple animals with the one that wouldn't walk on water. Didn't happen. Then it started throwing random errors at me. So I tried merging it with a different version. That died as well. GAH! So yeah, not a very productive day today. The afternoon wasn't so bad. Still no sign of my loan though (bastards). Ended up spending the day wandering around town, didn't do anything particularly exciting. It's getting boring especially without Holly. I didn't do so badly in the afternoon, but the evening was a little blah. It played a few songs I associate with Holly - Everlong by the Foo Fighters, The Offspring, Chemical Brother's Galvanize etc. It's just not the same without her. But things said, she's obviously happy where she is, so I can't/won't complain. The night out wasn't so bad. Shame it just lacked people I knew. Danny, Jason, Bell and Jamie were all out, but I'm not that close to any of them except Danny. Danny's dad came to Vies...that was..interesting? Met some random 30year old who was banned from Heaven and Hell because he hit on the bouncers girlfriend. Ooops. But yeah, he was friendly enough and reasonably drunk. Kinda weird really, I met a few new people tonight. I was in the toilets trying to cool down and some guy had lost part of his lip piercing on the floor. Guess who found it. Thus proceeded five minutes of how much he loved me and how cool I was. lol. It was nothing, but drunk people do that sorta thing =P Music was alright, he played Beck and Pulp outta the blue. Other than that, and watch Dr. Who (the writers are such crack addicts) I didn't do anything. Oh and Tom stayed in the Napier when I turned up only for Vies. Bastard. Night. Chris.
