Dave's Y2K Blues

Y2K has passed us by, and there's a teardrop in my eye.

I expected "CRASH & BURN" I got zilch in return.

All my fears went up in smoke, when across the country, nothing broke

All the money that I blew, I could have saved and sent to you.

I waited with my Gun in hand for doom & gloom across the land.

But nothing happened after all the hype, Not one computer belch of any type.

There's disappointment far & near, Cause we wasted all that fear.

But one thing odd I did discover, while upon the can I did hover.

Tissue paper had a bug, turned into corncobs on the rug
