Here's a little application to send e-mail messages from command prompt. It's useful when you need to send e-mail from a batch file or from a scheduler (15.02.2002). It's story is inside the archive.
I developped an application to help create/modify the configuration files for NDC ATMs. It displays the screens, explains each of the states (except for extension states Z) and shows the FIT table in a easy readable form. You can get it here (4th of September 2001). It helped me a lot, but probably there are very few people which might use it.
I currently (jul'2000) work on a project (started 18th of May) for distributing stock exchange quotes to a country area network. The application needs further testing, but if you have a connection to the Bucharest Stock Exchange and Horizon software, you can give it a try bvbs.zip (vers# 0.0.9.1). The project is only 3 months old, so be tolerant! It needs delphi3 run-time libraries; details by e-mail.
I've seen a very nice software called Revelation, wich can steal passwords from hidden fields (star fields *****) of dial-up, network connection ... I made one alike (jun'2000), the only diference is mine shows paswords "inline" - it unhides the stars. You can download revel.zip (bug fixed - 26.09.2000).
The last months (jan'98) I wrote some parts of an application for a radar system, under Unix. I was charged with the display, acquisition and communication processes. Interesting task! And with a lot of satisfaction, too...
I used frequently Delphi (still version 1) and I still think it
is great. I wrote some programs using it and I think it is
better than many other programming tools (it cannot be compared
with Visual Basic wich I have used in the past). I hope I will
check newer versions (I heard that Delphi 3.0 appeared).
I like this little dll from Vincent Himpe, which gives acces
to ports from Windows. The file is public domain / shareware.
I can't remember the author's address, but I think you'll find
it inside the archive. Click to download the file
winio.zip. Thank you, Vincent!
For those who are still using AutoCAD 12 to vectorize RLC files
(it's a raster file format used by some scanner software): it is
available here for downloading a program wich
I wrote last year in ADS (C for AutoCAD). It can be recompiled
for Windows (I have used it just for the DOS version). It gives
you the posibility of "pasting" the raster under the drawing.
Yes, there are very complicated and much friendly programs that
can do the same thing, but they are not for free (actualy there
are very expensive). Click to download the file
rlc.zip (1996).
