The Carousel's Horses

Prancing about the Carousel, the Chimeric Horses may seem to be merely borne of lighthearted fancys. Yet, the young children who ride merry-go-rounds often dream of being cowboys, Indian braves, and , yes, Knights of old. Is it any wonder then these steeds have been known to rush to the defense of the hold when need be?

The leader of the herd is simply known as 'Stallion'.. and this chimera is the only one of them that can speak. Indeed, Jude often can be found discussing the goings on of the Hold with Staillion, as he greatly admires the Chimera's 'Horse Sense'.

OOC: The typical Carousel Horse has the following statistics:

Attributes: Strength 6, Dexterity 3, Stamina 4, Charisma 3, Manipulation 1, Appearance 4, Perception 3, Intelligence 2, Wits 3
Abilties:Alertness 2, Athletics 3, Brawl 3, Dodge 1, Empathy 1, Intimidation 1, Kenning 3
GLAMOUR:6,WILLPOWER:4
REDES:Scuttle, Traverse Dreaming, Sanctuary (unique Rede)
Health Levels:OK,OK,-1,-1,-2,-2,-5,Incapacitated

Note, Stallion himself is actually a bit tougher, he has one dot in the Armor rede (Barding), and the Leadership skill.. though it's really limited to the Herd.

Sanctuary-This Rede allows a Chimera to emulate the Inamanie in a fashion. To flee Banality, they may merge with one specific inaminate object, often the same one that inspired their creation in the first place. While contained there in, they need not fear a banal touch. However, if said object is destroyed while the Chimera is in it, use the rules on pg. 223 as if it lost all health levels. The Chimera is aware of what is happening around it, but can not use redes while in it's sanctuary. If the Chimera is outside and it's sanctuary destoryed, it is stunned and helpless for a turn.

Chimera Point Cost: 5, Use Cost: None, except at initial bonding in which case it's one.

This Rede is subject to change as it's playability is studied.
