The Coleco Adam computer was designed to be an expansion on the ColecoVision game system. It was designed in the early eighties (1981) and manufactured for only 2 years. It uses a Z80 CPU with 64 KB of RAM, comes with 32 KB ROM with a built in wordprocessor, 3 internal slots, a cartridge slot, a bus expansion, and the "AdamNET" high speed LAN for connecting the keyboard, daisy wheel printer, and disk drives. |
