It is the act of expressing, by the power of will, the personal energies accumulated within ourselves, as a donation of energies. This donation of energies can be done either in a conscious way or not, in this physical dimension or in more subtle ones, from this dimension to more subtle ones and vice versa. This technique is very much used as a therapy for some religions when the priest impose his hands over the crowd or a sick person in order to improve the health or to heal the diseases or even to oust the 'demons'. As benefits of expelling energies we can list: improvement in the physical and mental well being of the practitioner once he(she) gets rid of slack and negative energies that may be circulating the energetic body; energetic cleansing of the place where the person is, imposing his(hers) energetic standards. When the expressing of energies is done through a singular chakra it is very probable that certain sensations may occur as vibrations, heat in the region. When it happens through the energetic body as a whole the most common sensation is something like inflating the energetic body and changes in the temperature of the body, shivering and muscle contractions in the arms, legs and neck may also occur.
