At this age of Web mania, obviously the focal points are IPOs, mega-mergers and showy dot-coms. While a small number of people are getting very rich with the blessings of website technology, my attention turns to another aspect of this issue, building homepages

To be honest, I am a layman in technical sense as are many other people. Focusing on computer and internet study had long been my wishful thinking, but "I am not well prepared" served as my pretext to evade challenge.
But no more. My mother gave me a phone call the other day and asked me why not do anything when internet beckons to us. My immediate respondence was to build my own homepage as soon as possible, then go on building one for my mother, for all my beloved ones and then for anyone I can help. What a splendid scheme to conceive. That day would be my starting point and I would like to be the guinea pig myself
I don't feel sorry for my lack of proper background any more. Actually this disadvantage is exactly the center piece of my mission. My homepage can be seen as the laboratory of my fervent belief in homepages of the people, by the people and for the people. What I am determined to do is to showcase this odyssey by hand making one. By doing so, I expect my future kids to know I do try something worthy at the dawn of the information age.
