Of all the older SGI workstations, this blue pizza box is my favourite. They were the first SGIs that I had the opportunity to play around with. The annoying thing about the Indy is that the power supplies tend to fail often. Dust plays a factor, I suppose. I've been to companies where I've found huge dustballs inside systems when I've open the case of the system. I got one as a gift some time ago. I got an Indy R4600 133mhz SC, 8-bit graphics, 2gb Disk, 96mb memory with IndyCam. It's pretty basic but it's nice for playing around with. It's currently being used as a webserver. Aside from that, I don't have much use for it at this time.
Indy PresenterThese links for the Indy Presenter are now broken as ol' www.sgi.com has decided to take them down or move them without letting anyone know where they've been moved to. I did manage to find old copies of those pages at the following location but they too seem to have disappeared.
