TV World is my tv list section consisting of live tv shows and past shows on DVD. With time at a premium these days and the quality of tv changing to lower budget fare with increased advertising it can be difficult to find shows that can keep your interest up while enduring all the ad hocking of various wares. If you ever wondered some tv stations are inserting 20-27 minutes worth of commercials per hour. Does not leave much time for the actual show that you tuned into to be watched. Many of the TV shows that are on dvd are 39 to 43 minutes long, so doing the math commercials should be 17 to 21 minutes on length per hour. Worse case scenario you lose a full 10 minutes of a show to a bunch of commercials most of which you would never buy the ad hocked ware to begin with.
While you can buy complete tv series on DVD or go to your local rental store and rent them they have a benefit over watching live TV. One you can watch them on your own schedule. Two you are viewing the show as intended to be seen. Three you can watch as many episodes you like at a single sitting. Four you can rewatch an episode again if you get interupted. Five you can view shows that are not available over the standard air ways. Six you have a whole foreign option to explore for increased tv viewing. Seven you can watch any decade of TV of your choice. Eight no news interuptions. Nine no missed shows. Last but not least number 10, no strikes.
