Thank you for making available files unaccessible to me without lengthy visits to East Texas. My current is finding the burial locations of grandmother Laura KIMBROUGH(PULLIN) and grandfather Thadeus(fadius)KIMBROUGH, who were married in Nacogdoches, TX
2 Jan 1893. Both were alive as late as 1928, and Laura KIMBROUGH apparantly died AFTER Thadius in 1929. Burial would likely have been near Garrison, TX, as that was their home.

Enjoy the information you provide. I would like to correct facts on Opal Hendrix Overstreet/wife of James Vinson Overstreet (he was the son of "Bud" Overstreet. Opal and Vinson had one son, Dwayne Overstreet of Honey Island (not James Vinson as is liste
in memorial). The oldest of Opal and Vinson's grandchildren was completely left out. He is James Vinson Overstreet, II. Please see if you can change this info. I am sure that he would not want to be totally left out. I have emailed you previously re
arding this, but am not sure if you received email.
Thank you.

I am related to all these Horrells from Allensville. In fact I have Pictures of the grave sites. I
come down from Christopher Horrell born 30 March 1771, died 29 July 1831 and Sarah
Allen born 10 May 1781 died 26 Aug 1823. We have a Bible story from my great aunt
Sister Bernadette Horrell who recorded that Allensville is named after Sarah's family and
that it was also named Horrellsville or Horrellstown. Of their children I come down from
Rufus A. Horrell born 5 June 1819 died in Erie PA. who married Julianna Christy born 26
Aug 1819 and died in Erie PA 16 Feb 1907. Their gggrandson, my grandfather, Edwin
Eugene Horrell remembers the Horrell men who went to KS. He spoke of Rush Horrell
and Irvin. He also speaks of a Horrell from this same line who ran with Billy the Kid in
Texas. I think we should talk. I have a whole lot more info at home (I use the library's PC)
You may email me at Bern_a_bee@Yahoo.com

Excellent page Laura. I am trying to scan the picture of the back side of
Thomas Hodges ALLEN my(gggrf)and Nancy Elizabeth (my gggrm)tombstone. It says "son of William and Mary ALLEN dau. of Neil and Jennet SINCLAIR MCKINNON.
Their son James SINCLAIR ALLEN was born Sept 17, 1862 and was only 5 when his mother Nancy died on Feb 7, 1868. My grandfather Oree ALLEN supplied the information for his father's death certificate. He wrongly said McKINLEY instead of MCKINNON.

I do not have my papers with me today, but, just happened upon your site. We have a family bible that was recorded many many years ago by my great aunt Sister Bernadette Marie Horrell. It stated that Allensville was named after Sara Allen who married Cr
stopher Horrell. She died in a fire. It is interesting to note that Allensville was once named Horrellston or Horrellville. In the Bealsville Presbytarian cemetery a mistake was made many years ago from the person gathering all the stone readings. I we
t there with a camera. In the old publication they had a Sara next to Christopher but listed her at 16 years old. The stone actually talked about her being (43 year ? many months and 16 days.) The person recording it saw the number 16 and recorded 16 ye
rs. The men from their historical society was with us and agreed that a mistake was made. Christopher had several children to take care of when she died. we come down from their and have all the family bible information. One of his daughters, Annie ma
ried a mr. Giboney, a wealthy man in Bealsville, she took care of one of her younger siblings. We now they had many children. I would love to hear from you.
Bernadette Mosey
