1. Start with a 8.5x11 inches sheet of paper. |
2. Fold the middle fold. Unfold. |
3. Fold diagonally so you'll have a big triangle and beneath some "leftovers". Unfold. |
4. Fold the same way just to the other side. Unfold. |
5. Flip the paper and fold horizontally twards you. Use the middle of the X as pivot, and make the fold parallel to the lower/upper edge. Unfold. |
6. Flip back over. Now fold a fold named Praying Hands. All of this fold moves are at www.geocities.com/pyros_82/hands_pf.htm. |
7. This is after the Praying Hands fold. |
8. Take the top double layer of paper from the right half of the triangle and flip it to the left. |
9. Fold the triangle you just flipped to form half-a-diamond. (fold just what you flipped in the previous step) |
10. Flip the half diamond to the right. |
11. Now flip the top double layer of the left half of the triangle to the right. |
12. Fold the triangle you just flipped to form another half-a-diamond. |
13. Flip the top half diamond to the left, now you have a diamond. |
14. Fold the right half of the diamond so the slash-like ( / ) angle of the line will be along the main fold. |
15. Fold the left half of the diamond so the backslash ( \ ) angle of line will be along the main fold. Look at the picture - that's where it name came from. |
16. Fold the small top triangle of the 'kite' over the long one. |
17. Fold the plane to half, along the main fold, smooth side in. |
18. Fold the wing fold as shown at the picture. |
19. Set the dihedral angle be parallel to the horizon when the plane is flying. |
Flying tips:
Anywhere any-time anyhow any-everything, made myself clear? The only thing this plane hates is really hard wind, it can handle med-to-soft wind.
