My most endearing aircraft used to be the F-14, until this baby came into my life...
The red hot  MIG-29. On these pages, I have extracted (with pain & effort) various MIG pictures during an airshow... it was really hard work making the messy background transparent !! Some of the pictures can be clicked on, where a larger version can be seen.

The beauty of the aircraft is not only the aerodynamic figure but that of its aerodynamics and strengths in combat. The MIG-29 was originally built to spar with that of the F-15 Eagle. Unfortunately, the MIGs now have to combat with its decendent, the F-22.

During my stint in the air force, I have heard the thunderous power of the F-15 eagle taking off... an exhilirating experience. Can you imagine how the MIG sounds...

 -  really DEVASTATING !

F-14 Tomcat
Nonetheless, my passion for the F-14s still exists, though diminished a little over the years. Nothing can beat that "howling" sound as it "Break Right !". It still is a wonderful aircraft, like the cadalacs in the past, it will be in my memory for quite some time.
