Below is DoctorMacs Tip of the Week:

If your Mac is having a problem alwyas make sure to consult your manual first. If the problem persists and your manual has no explanation, restart your computer with the shift key down to turn off all extensions. If the problem has dissapeared then you know that the fault lies within an Extension. Next selectively startup with each extension individualy until you find the one that is causing the problem. Once it is found promptly move it into the folder in your System Folder called "Disabled Extensions". This should work, but if it doesn't either reinstall your system software or contact an authorized Apple Dealer.
