When a program has the same version number for different calculators, the TI-89 and
TI-92 versions are the best, followed by the TI-86, and then the TI-83. There will
be no more updates to the TI-83 and the TI-86 programs. I borrowed the TI-83 from
my school last year, and I lost my TI-86. If you find any bugs in these programs,
please let me know. Other programs are available at TI-CALC.ORG.
If you have a TI-92 Plus calculator, use the TI-92 version. If you have a TI-83 Plus, use the TI-83 version.
The PC files were written in Borland Turbo C++ v4.5. I have not yet learned Windows
programming, so these are EasyWin apps. That means that it's a Windows program, but
it works like a DOS program. More PC files are coming soon!

DispList |
This program is required for the calculator versions of the Factors and PrimeNum
programs, available below. |
TI-83 v2.02 TI-86 v2.02 TI-92 v2.02 Not needed for PC |
EulerG |
This program performs Euler's Method. This program supports y in dy/dx, unlike the
TI-86's built in Differential Equation mode. |
TI-83 v2.13 |
ExpDrill |
This program allows you to practice exponents. You can choose the range of numbers
that you are drilled on. |
TI-83 v1.21 TI-86 v1.21 |
Factors |
This program will give you the prime factorization of a number, all the factors of
a number, and the sum of the factors. Due to the TI-92's factor command, this program runs
very quickly compared to the TI-83 and TI-86. The DispList program (available above), is
required for the calculator versions of this program. |
TI-83 v2.11 TI-86 v2.11 TI-92 v3.01 PC v2.11 |
GuessNum |
This game randomly chooses a number from one to any number you choose. You attempt
to guess the number, and receive points based on your level of difficulty chosen, as well as
the number of tries used. |
TI-83 v2.01 TI-86 v2.01 |
Hangman |
After you type a word into this program, you can allow a friend to try to guess the
word you entered. |
TI-83 v2.12 TI-86 v2.12 |
MemGame |
This game helps you memorize a string of up to 21 characters. You can either input
a string, or let the program generate a string of numbers. |
TI-83 v2.02 TI-86 v2.01 |
MultDril |
This program is similar to ExpDrill, except instead of exponents, it uses
multiplication. |
TI-86 v1.21 |
NumInt |
This program performs numerical integration using several methods: LRAM, MRAM, RRAM,
Trapezoidal Rule, and Simpson's Rule. |
TI-83 v2.13 TI-86 v2.13 |
Patterns |
This program creates interesting patterns using trigonemetric functions and parametric
equations. On the TI-86, the variables xt1 and yt1 will not be deleted, since the calculator
would freeze if the program attempted to delete these variables. If you wish to delete these
variables, please do NOT use the Delvar command. |
TI-83 v2.24 TI-86 v2.24 |
PrimeNum |
This program can give you the first n primes, primes up to a number n, and test if a
number is prime. The DispList program (available above), is required for the calculator
versions of this program. |
TI-83 v2.15 TI-86 v2.15 TI-92 v3.01 |
SynthDiv |
This program performs synthetic division (Horner's Algorithm), and shows you all the
steps. This program supports complex numbers. |
TI-83 v1.01 TI-86 v1.01 |
TicTacTo |
This program allows you to play Tic-Tac-Toe on your calculator. |
TI-83 v2.13 TI-86 v2.13 |
