Internet Explorer is the Internet World Wide Web browser from Microsoft. First released shortly after Windows 95 was released, it is now included with all versions of Windows since its first release. The current versions of Internet Explorer are 5.01 Service Pack 2, 5.5 Service Pack 2, and Internet Explorer 6. Due to potential security issues, I recommend you upgrade if you have an older version installed on your computer. Internet Explorer can be downloaded from Microsoft's Downloads page at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/default.asp. That page also contains links for ordering Internet Explorer on CD as well as links for downloading critical and recommended updates for Internet Explorer.
