Having trouble staying connected to ICQ? If you are getting frustrated because ICQ constantly disconnects on you, then it's time you added more servers.
If a server is too busy and won't let you connect, then ICQ will go down the list of servers until it can connect. The more servers you have, the better your chance of getting connected and staying connected to an ICQ server.
I came across the following tip, and thought I'd include it on this page. I don't know whether or not it works, because I've never had the opportunity to try it. I don't seem to have any problems with the ICQ connection anymore.
Hate it when ICQ servers go down? Try rapidly clicking On-line, Off-line, and Invisible.
Here is the list of ICQ servers. The PORT number is always 4000. Instructions for adding servers can be found towards the bottom of the page.

I know there are similiar pages with ICQ servers, but I wanted to have my own. Instead of telling someone "You need more servers. Here are a few links.", I can just tell them to come to this page. So I collected all the servers listed on other pages and made a list, took screen shots of the windows displayed above to give a visual example of how to add the servers, and made this page. I hope you have more fun with ICQ now that you have added all these extra servers!
