Software Consultant
Currently I am working as a Manager for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young US LLC (one of the Big 5), and am based in Manhattan. Previously I was working for a prestigious consultancy in New Jersey called Rayex Inc. I am located in Piscataway in New Jersey. I hail from India and have more then 10 years of computer exposure, out of which 7 years has been hardcore software development. In India I have worked at the off-shore development centres of Risk Management Solutions Inc., CA and Business Management Data Inc., CA, USA.
Key responsibilities
My strengths are creating Technical Architectures and design & development of systems using Object Oriented Technology. I also have exposure and have done development in the latest technologies including J2EE, .NET, OLE, COM and ActiveX. I have development experience in Visual Age for Java, Visual Cafe, WebSphere, BEA WebLogic, Visual C++ 5.0 / 4.2 and Visual Basic 5.0 on Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 95. I also have considerable experience on Windows 2000, Active Directory, Certificate Server and other Microsoft Windows 2000 technologies. Designing Web Pages on the Internet is also my forte. My previous stint was at Reuters America Inc., in Hauppauge and there I was designing and developing an ActiveX control toolkit, which is being used in the development of other applications for Reuters.

My Interests include the Internet and Computers. Most of my spare time is spent on the Internet trying to grasp and learn about new technologies. I also manage to collect stamps and coins. I have a very effective and vast stamp collection and I invite all philately enthusiasts to get in touch with me, if they are interested in exchanging stamps of different countries. Driving and Adventure Sports is another of my obsessions !!
