In these days most employed people are working for government in the offices but in the pass there were small manufactures that the trading people taught there job to the aperients ships particaly there sons some of the jobs they had also some people yet have are : Copper Smithing and Black Smithing ; There was a market for these type of jobs and every where you can hear the noise of the hummer that the trade person hit the iron and copper to change the form of the copper or iron to use in another job and they used to make a lot of neccacery thing for life like dishes, plates, trays and tools as axes, Knives and scythes for farmers. There is market in the centre of the city that in local language they cal these markets "GOZAR" and the Clothes Sellers Gozar is next to Copper Smithing Market in this Gozar from past are several shops that are selling beautiful metals in different colours to make beautiful Kurdish dress'. At the moment "Siroce Street" lays between "Cloth Sellers Gozar" and "Baratian Gozar", but in the past there was a connection between these two Gozar. When you go down from stairs way to this Gozar you can see a lot of small shops which they sell different things, in the entrance is a small toy shop, next to is a blankets shop, one sell honey and food oil. Around the corner is the Jewish Market which is owned by Jewish who are living in Sanandaj. When you go to main street calls Ferdosi Street you can see Clothes shops and Jewelleries and fruit shops. CARPET The young’s girls carpet makers of Sanandaj and around it are real artist. They makes very nice carpets which is famous around the world. The carpet sellers have a good business in city and they also export the carpets to other cities and other countries and the trader of dyer are making a lovely colours for this beautiful carpets.
