Cities around the Sanandai

Sanandaj is Capital of Province of Kurdestan one of Iranian Provinces.

Around the city there are viliges like Hassan Ava, Navarra, Narran, Khaiara, Haneas, Kor-Kora, Bavariz and nearest cities are Kamiaran 70km far and Divan-Darre 60km far away from Sanandaj. These two cities are small and they have very nice weather in the Springs and Summers. Saqez is another city near the Sanandaj. This city as Sanandaj has a long history and is bigger than Divan-Darre and its people speak Sorani one of the Kurdish language branches. Bana is another city of Kurdestan and there is located near the Arbaba Mountain. When you go to city it makes you very happy to see the people wearing traditional Kurdish Clothes.

Marivan is another city of Kurdestan and it is a small city with a great lake next to it called Zrebar. Qorve and Bidjar are in the border Kurdestan with other provinces, they are not really Kurdish. The people of these cities have Sheaa Religion. Old government (Shah Regime) connected these two cities to Kurdestan because they didn't want Kurdish people be in union and Islamic Republic had this opportunity to use it and bring many of citizens of these cities to Sanandaj for suppression challenging the rights of Kurdish people.
