Eternity
If I could stop time, it would be while in your embrace,
With my eyes looking up on your down tilted face.
Having me be the only one held within the depth of your eyes.
Our unending love lifting us up into the skies.
Bodies pressed together, I feel the beating of your heart,
Your warmth envelops me, never will we part.
Becoming entangled in your soul while into your eyes I gaze.
Enraptured in your being until our dying days.
Encompassed within the electricity that springs between our flesh.
Breaths, bodies, minds, souls and hearts will forever mesh.
Through the hour glass we see the grains of sand no longer flow.
Together it is you and I, and neither ever have to go.
In this timeless place we find that we are one.
The feeling of relentless joy will never come undone.
Now if only I could stop the passing of time, create eternity,
I'd stop it in this place, with us as one, forever together we'll be.
