Everyday, I get up and begin to clean,
Finding that halfway through it, I have to go to work.
I begin to climb a mountain,
Finding that halfway to the top, that the mountain grew.
I begin swimming across the ocean,
Finding that halfway to the other side, the shore has crumbled.
I begin walking to the other side of the world,
Finding that halfway there, it has fallen off the edge.
I keep trying to please you,
Finding that halfway there, I'm not doing it right.
I keep telling you I love you,
Finding that you feel, I only love you halfway.
I keep searching for eternity,
Finding that I'm only half of it.
I'll keep cleaning until I'm finished.
Or, I'll die trying.
I'll keep climbing until I reach the top.
Or, I'll die trying.
I'll keep swimming until I reach the shore.
Or, I'll die trying.
I'll keep walking until I reach the other side of the world.
Or, I'll die trying.
I'll keep trying until you're pleased.
Or, I'll die trying.
I'll keep telling you I love you, until you believe me.

I'll keep searching for eternity, until I find you there with me.
