A NORTHERN ROSE
© By Laryalee
In March she peeks through drowsy doors,
then April's mist will sponge her pores.
The waltz of May on whispered toes
till June unties her velvet bows.
Her beauty bursts in vibrant curls
on deftly woven leafy swirls.
In floating gown of fragrant lace,
the garden bows before her grace.
Then drifting soft to languid rest,
she sleeps again on winter's breast.
