Well, Children’s Play is but a few short weeks away! We have our entire
script written, and it looks awesome! Thanks John, Jon, Rob, Steve, Rachel,
Jessica, and Mr. Chew. Now we begin to make it into a show.
The Beach Party dance, although it didn’t have a very large number of
people there, was a lot of fun. The seniors did a great job planning it, and
the volleyball games were a great touch. I, for one, had a good time.
The annual Chelmsford Winterfest is this weekend, and on Saturday night,
there is going to be a dance at St. Mary’s church. It is open to anyone in
grades 9-12. For tickets ($5) see me, and I can probably get you a ticket. I
don’t know if they are sold at the door, and it will be a casual dance.
Now that MidYear Hell Week and Hazing Fest is over, how many people got
95 or better on at least one of them? Okay, well you better watch your backs,
because jealousy is a funny thing, it causes people to act strangely...
Congratulations if you did, however, I think that’s great.
Second semester has officially started, so everyone now has a clean
slate. For some of us, it means that we have just realized it is no longer
summer vacation, and that we better start getting organized. Not that I
would know about this or anything...
Auditions for Camelot are next week, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Good luck to
all, and do your best. All bribes can be addressed to either P. Stevens,
C. Rondina, or C. MacKenzie. (Remember: Craig loves carrots!) Preferably
cash or gold, but some major credit cards are accepted.
Puppy update: They are all grown up, and as of today, Francis is the
only one who doesn’t know where he is going to move to. All the others are
beginning to "leave the nest" and even though I’ll miss them, my house will
certainly be a little bit cleaner.
Writer's Notes:
The following notes were not included in the original newsletter. They are
intended to explain to the reader some of what was meant by various items in
the newsletter.
This one was very self-explanatory, so this section will be short as
well.
Mr. Chew is our Theatre Guild advisor.
I am not very organized, and never did get around to reorganizing at the
beginning of second semester.
Camelot auditions went well, and the results came out the same day as the
Greek of the Week newsletter. 35 of the 90 who
auditioned made it into the show.
Molly Bean had her puppies on December 4th.
