This Quasi-Weekly will not spotlight a senior, since I do not have
enough stuff on our next victim: Sarah Ames. Please submit any stories,
jokes, insults, etc. that you have for her to me.
Spring Concert went really well. Vivaldi’s Gloria was incredible, it
left me speechless. (That’s because I sang so loud I lost my voice, but
that’s okay.) Everyone did really well, especially the soloists. Kim,
Kathleen, Becca and Beth, great job!
Third Term grades closed Monday, so start calculating your averages and
bribe amounts now. All Emerson house teachers are now accepting Mastercard
and Visa, but they won't take American Express. Also, Whittier is having a
"Bribe Two, Get One Free" special, and Hawthorne is featuring a convenient
easy payment plan where you pay only $19.95 a month when you use "Tootie,"
available only through QVC.
Camelot is fast approaching! On deck for Quasi-Weekly featurement is Rob
Killeen, who will be King Arthur Pendragon in the performance on May 1, 2,
and 3. Everyone must go, it is sure to be an incredible show. So far, Craig
MacKenzie hasn’t yet gone bald or grey-haired, although he did cut his hair
Friday.
Guess what?!? April vacation is 2 weeks away!!!
There is now a Quasi-Weekly website! Unfortunately, none of the special
fonts for certain people’s names are able to be used, but there will be
some cool pictures of them up in the near future!

Jazz Band recently participated in the Berklee College of Music Jazz
Festival. Scores have yet to arrive... Jazz Band also performed a concert
and workshop in collaboration with Harvard University Jazz Band, Billerica
Memorial High School Jazz Band, Methuen High School Rangers Jazz Ensemble,
and Dracut High School Jazz Band. The concert was a lot of fun, and our very
own Paul Johnson was crowned "guitar king" bringing Methuen's guitarist
literally to his knees in awe with a kickin' solo, followed by an even
better one played with the guitar behind his head!
Any nominations for future Quasi-Weekly featured seniors? Let me know!
The next three editions will be: Sarah Ames, Rob Killeen, and Paul Johnson.
April Fools Day was commemorated this year in quite a way. Nature seems
to have wanted to add to the pranks, resulting in a day off from school,
much needed on my part.
That is all I have to say for today, and I'm sorry that it's been
awhile, I've been busy. As always, all suggestions, comments, and other
remarks can be directed to "Quasi-Weekly" c/o The Chorus Room, Far right
spot, 2nd shelf up, Room 218 or "Quasi-Weekly", Locker A43, lockers between
Hawthorne office and the Art room.

Writer's Notes:
The following notes were not included in the original newsletter. They are
intended to explain to the reader some of what was meant by various items in
the newsletter.
At the time of publishing, I did not know that I would put out the
Sarah Ames newsletter the next day, or the
revised copy the day after that.
Unfortunately, CHS teachers are not really bribable.
April vacation begins April 11 after school ends that day.
Jazz Band still has not gotten our scores back. Paul Johnson is our
guitarist, who also plays the trumpet with the other bands and the
orchestra. Also, Methuen's guitarist really did fall to his knees. I'm not
kidding.
On April 1st, Massachusetts was hit with a massive snowstorm, causing many
schools to cancel their day, some for even a day or two after due to
"unfavorable conditions."
The addresses given refer to my "locker space" and locker. In the Chorus
Room, 12 of us have a bookshelf that we have divided up into 12 spots, and
we use them instead of our real lockers. It's easier that way. When I do use
a locker, it's the one described.
