Greetings. Thanks for visiting us. I'm Bob Rose and my artwork is what you'll find here at gallery 11:11. Although 60 years old, a husband, a father of three remarkable children, and a grandfather of eight equally remarkable grandchildren, I'm also a professional digital artist. I received my art training at Cal-State University at Long Beach in the early '80's. I made my professional debut at the Virtual Gallery in Palo Alto, California in June of '97. Since then, I've exhibited exclusively in the Northern Nevada area. A while ago, I exhibited my work at the Annual Uptown, Downtown, ArtTown, Arts on the Green Show in Reno. Most recently, I had a featured artist exhibit at the King Street Gallery, here in Carson City. I create hyper-modern abstract digital art which is print-rendered as dye-sub, archival quality 12"x18" format, limited edition prints on medium gloss paper. I also work with a print agency to produce limited edition IRIS Giclee prints on canvas as large as 50"x95". Currently the projected image longevity using latest Giclee print technology is 95 years.

You'll find my art is unique because I use computer programs to generate mathematically-based totally abstract shapes and textures which exist only in the "mind" of the computer and which I then use to create these abstract images. I also incorporate my metaphysical beliefs into my work. I utilize the sphere and pyramid extensively - two of the most ancient symbols for God, encoded, no doubt, into our cellular and DNA memory. Some of my work that deals with the nature of physical reality can be seen at the Ceptual Institute (http://ceptualinstitute.com), a hot spot for global thinkers, physicists, writers and artists who meet on the WEB to discuss the nature of reality, God and the meaning of life...
